Heading to bed...finally checked my e-mails and different sites...hard to manuever with the one-handed technique. Elbow is feeling better, thanks for the prayers. Wrist is tender, may have to have it xrayed on Thursday's DR. appointment. Josh is feeling puny, been sick most of the day and last time I talked with him had a fever over 101....Pray for a quick recovery. It rained almost all day long...nice, except I had to get out earlier in the morning. Few things on the agenda for tomorrow.....Everyone stay well, stay blessed...keep smiling from the inside out....later....    

Small change in surgery date, it will be Tuesday, Nov. 22...around 1000 am. Here I sit, and sit, and think, and ponder, still here....Praying....Stay safe...stay blessed...keep focused and smile from the inside out....   

                                                         okay..update: Surgery is on for next Wednesday....Ct Scan showed there was only 40% of the radial head intact. There will be an incision, sawing and removal of the 40%, and a prosthesis implanted....sewing of skin, and bending of elbow, while under anesthesia...whew! and back into a splint....Josh plans on being there, and then will bring me home to Conyers for a few days to recouperate. Maybe some cooking...not by me...I can instruct. Hmmm... might bring some of the wedding favors up there for them to help with....or to do them all...hmmm....I'll pray about it...Loving this seasonal weather!!!! Flannel is divine.....Everyone be thankful....give thanks, show thanks.....Share your Blessings with those who need it.....Smile from the inside out....Later....

Thanks for all the well-wishing and prayers...am typing away, one handed, attempting to survive around the house. Had to find all things elastic and "sporty", for comfort. No zippers, no buttons...no ponytails...(my coworker did put my hair in a ponytail this morning after mt Ct Scan...thank you lisa). Try opening up the child-proof lids on medicine bottles, drink bottles, lid to the mayonnaise jar..etc...you get the picture. Can't make a dent in the laundry mountain...hard to fold or hang up. Bought 10 magazines, have several books to get into....can't hot-glue any ribbons on the wedding favors...boo-hiss. Looks like I'm out of work for 6-8 weeks...oh joy...just how I wanted to use my time..... Am catching up on movies, soaps, talk shows....Sleeping for short naps on the sofa...going to bed early....getting up way before the crack....Keep praying...my sanity will be tested way before this is over with.   But on a more serious note, please pray for one of the nicest guys at work...Butch worked in Xray....had a horrible car wreck over the week-end...he is now up at Shepard spinal clinic...and is paralyzed from the waist down!So my pity party is now over with...that party was busted....I will not complain....God has a purpose for all of us...in all situations....Use me, God.....

I am so ready for this week to be over with. AM supposed to be off tonight, but since I reworked my schedule to be off this weekend for the Shower, I am working.

Headed out to pay a few bills, go by the post-office, go to the credit union, and then home to wash at least one load of clothes....eat a bite...and head to dream land....before I have to get up and do this all over again.  Will post later.    Greetings...on this, yet, another beautiful, sun filled fall-like day....Survived my long hauls...worked 13 hrs last night....But it was filled with drama and pettiness on the part of others, who are supposed to be adults, act just like mean-spirited children....Enough said, have had enough of that crap all my life, thought it would be gone by now....Surprise...NOT!

Am off tonight, laundry on the horizon, cooking, reading, TV...sofa warming...GEE, I sound like a broken record, huh? Well, on my day off, that's just what I do.  I wish I could get motivated to start wrapping and clearing out my living room...Again, NOT!
