Good Morning to all....Work was intense, but not bad....Only 2 more days to work.....And then I am off for 14 days....Won't you all be so glad when I am gone...and can't keep the tally of how many days I have until my vacation.??!! Tough, my journal....JK....LOL.... Hope everyone stays cool today...going to be another scorcher...heat index predicted of 110+    UGH!!!! I can sleep throught most of that...as long as my AC keeps humming along.... Keep praying for those who need it...pray for David's dad...pray for Erin's mom, Pray for Angela as she gets ready to travel back from New York with the 2 little munchkins....pray for Discover Point and the time drawing near to have their first service....Pray for Joey.....Just pray, pray diligently, pray effortlessley and just keep praying for those in need.....for those who you know and are close to you...and those who are not....Stay focused.....Be the Blessing God intends you to be....Keep smiling from the inside out....Laugh....laugh out loud....giggle....snicker at every little thing that you find funny....Laughter is very good medicine for the soul.....I'm smiling...Later....

Talked with my sister....She had an enjoyable, but exhausting trip to Colorado and Santa Fe last week....trip to Dallas yesterday for Jill's Dr. appt, and Sue's Dr. appt is tomorrow in Dallas....Then she will rest up for the trip to Fairhope next week....Jill, Brooks, will probably drive down with Sue on Wednesday...Jim will come on Thursday....Norman and Laura will get there on Friday, Chris will be there on Monday...Not sure when Alex and Trisha are coming....Josh and Sabrina will be down on Saturday....Jann, Stephen, Taylor and Emily are in Grand Isle this week....One day...maybe they will get to come with us all....Journies mercies to all in route to where ever they may be traveling....Pray for Josh... driving this afternoon....pray for him to be focused...Spirit lead in his mission today....Pray for the people of London...again they were forced to be terrorized by some lunatics, bent on their own mission....to hurt, kill, maim, and send a message that they will not get away with it!!!! May we all be focused...on God's mission... to fulfill our purpose...to share His message and His Word... to Bless those around us....to be the light for His kingdom....to walk the walk...talk the talk....live the life.....Keep smiling , from the inside out....Later....

Today is an Awesome day!!! Work was not bad....only five more working days until I am off for 2 whole, glorious weeks....I know, it seems like I am rubbing it in....not intentional, by any means....I am just excited.....Ever notice how different people's passions are??!! What people collect...love....buy, or surround themselves with is so varied......Childlike, sophisicated, unique, colorful, drab, big, small, leatherbound, paperback, prints, oils, sketches, bottle-caps, baseball cards, dolls, pocelain, jewelry, stuffed animals, old toys, new toys, cereal boxes, futuristic, antique, sports, victorian, electrical, battery operated, hand operated, with wheels, with stands, made of wood, made of metal, made of plastic, hand made, machine made, made by your child, sculpted, poured, whittled, sewn, strung, hooked, crafted, okay....you get the idea of how different our likes, and passions are, even if they are all just "THINGS".........but the single, common thread of most of us.....at least those that read my site and those of most I read....the common thread is GOD/JESUS/FAITH/SALVATION...... Our decisions....our choices, dictate where we have come from...and where we are going.....and the many, varied paths taken in bewtween......lead to the same place.....Our Eternal Home.....May all of us share this single, simple, common thread with all of those around us...may they see this shining thread in our lives....may they desire to have what we have.....may we walk the walk...talk the talk...share the love and the joy of our most Heavenly God.....may we all be beacons of light for God's kingdom.....May they all seek the truth.....and may we all be Blessings to those near and far....sharing His love, His joy, His word.....Keep smiling from the inside out......

Well, there are only ten more days until my vacation begins...taking 14 total days off...to spend 7 days in my favorite place...Fairhope, which, by the way, was missed by Dennis...no damage at all!!! Get to spend much needed time with my sister, Sue, her husband, Jim, her youngest daughter Jill, Jill's son, Brooks, and Jill's fiance', Chris. My cousin Laura and her husband Norman will come for a few days.Jim's son, Alex, and his new wife...(can't remember her name) will come for a couple of days too...plus the people who own the B&B, Bill and Becky Jones and Pat...their partner...will all be there.....shopping, eating...sleeping...spending time on the pier....on the Bay.....The book store...the coffee shop...Papa's Pizza....Felix's Fish Camp....Horse Carriage...More shopping.....the bargains....the food...the breakfast on the pier....the gardens...the beach....the shopping....Okay...get the idea??!!! Taking my yearly contribution...Georgia peaches, blueberries and Vidalia onions....Keeps me in everyone's good graces...LOL....Have to work only seven more days until then....This time will be very theraputic...chathartic....very spiritual.....Can you tell I have a one track mind at this point??!!!  Woman on a Mission.....Everyone stay focused...Keep smiling from the inside out....Share God's presence in your life with those around you...Be the Blessing God intends you to be...stay on your path....His purpose.....Later.....

Praying for all the trouble and strife happening in London!!! Have just heard a little about the bombings.....But will surely hear more as the day wanes on....Pray for those injured...for the families of anyone killed or missing....May God Lift them up...wrapping his arms around them...healing them...drawing them near....And/or taking them home if that is his plan....Praying for all prayer requests.....Those I love and know well...and for those I don't....Healings needed....Worries calmed....Illnesses taken care of....Loneliness fixed....planting my face at the foot of the cross...for that is my salvation i give thanks for....mending my broken soul....healing me....loving me....smile.. bless those around you...share his love...share his joy...share your faith....later....

Remember the days when all you had to worry about, was who you were going to get to play on your kickball team? Or who all was going to the pool? which house everyone was going to play at....who had the neatest fort? Ice skating on frozen ponds...walks in the crystal,blue, safe ocean....building sandcastles...waiting for the ice cream  truck after hearing the bell two blocks over and hoping you had enough money for your favorite treat....going to the Saturday matinee...having popcorn, a drink and enought to split a candy bar...the really big ones.... Bowling all day long...and not running out of money... playing jacks...playing hopscotch....Chinese jumprope....dance lessons and recitals.....swim pratice and meets....JR. National Olympics in Hawaii....catching fireflies in a jar at dusk....skipping stones over and across a pond...camping out in your best friend's backyard....cooking hot dogs on coat hangers over an open fire...roasting marshmallows...and eating the burnt ones anyway....telling ghost stories...holding hands and not being called names....best friends.... lying on a blanket outside at night, counting the stars...having fun and just doing nothing.....no worries....no responsibilities..... going to the library...picking out your 10 most favorite books...checking them out for the limit of 2 weeks...and devouring them the minute you got home....finishing them and returning them early...only to return home with 10 more books....going to the 5 and 10 store....penny candy....bubble gum with trading cards.... swinging for hours...(fitting into the swings..LOL) spying on your older sister and her dates... listening to the radio.....45's and 38  records...mono or stereo....your first bicycle....your first pair of skates.... your first skateboard and your first broken bone....your first pet.....your first kiss... going to your first concert..... your first dance....Playing hide and seek outside way after dark.....your first love....your first real date...(not the one's you sneaked out of the house for....) Learning to drive, a stick shift ..Argh!!! Lordy...And then you ruined it by growing up......To return to the days of Pooh Bear, Eeyore, Tigger, Piglet,  Roo, Kanga, Owl, Rabbit...and have Christopher Robin take care of everything..... Sorry...Had to meander down that Lane..... Getting older can really put a damper on life...Don't try to do it all at once...slow down...stay a youngen'  just a little longer....It's still all Good once you get there....But you can't ever go back...until you are diagnosed with Alzheimer's.....Love to everyone.....smile.... Happy 4Th of July Weekend!!!!  Hope everyone has a most awesome time visiting with loved ones, family and friends...but be careful with all the traveling, the gas grills, the charcoal...and the fireworks, sparklers...etc.... wear your sunscreen....be responsible and accountable.... But enough of that...Have Fun!!!

Remember why this great country of ours was founded...the biblical principles..ideals...freedoms...choices....Pray for our great troops serving our country here and abroad...pray for our president, and all his cabinet, the judicial system...all those in control...pray for our youth...may they find their way to know Jesus... to find peace in the mundane, universal world....Share God's Love, Share His joy....Smile from the inside out...Bless those around you....Be the shining Light God means you to be....Stay in the Word....Pray...Talk daily to our heavenly father...Visit the cross...plant your face at the foot of the cross....Find Grace...Show Faith....Love As God Loves You...Unconditionally!!!! What a beautiful Morning!!! Thank You God!!!! Spent a productive week-end with Josh home....getting lots of things straightened out...still have way too many other things to finish....But God will assist in completing the much needed project..... God has had His hands in lots of this whole week-end.....felt him in all aspects, even the very small, minute items of the mundane day...God is So AWESOME!!!!  Keith will be leading the Hayneville Youth Camp this week...will be seeing him some...Pray for the week.... Pray for Sabrina, part-time job hunt...May God lead her to the place, He wants her to be....where He wants her to be a Light for those around her....Pray for Josh's decisions...May god Fulfill His needs......Pray for David and Philip and the Conference....Pray for David's sister and the new arrival....Pray for the Lost...May they be found...and led correctly..through Jesus....to Jesus.....for Jesus.... Feeling some better today.... Work was still Bizarre....I'm off tomorrow, hope to get a few things accomplished....Looking forward to Keith coming to the area, leading the Youth Camp for Hayneville Baptist Church next week....He will be in for a rude awakening...the humidity is sooooo bad.
